October Is Fire Prevention Month

In light of October being deemed Fire Prevention Month, Fall River’s Flint Fire Station is holding an open house this Wednesday, October 9th.  All age groups are invited to participate in this free event that will offer the chance for participants to meet “Sparky” the fire dog; learn fire prevention tips; climb aboard apparatus to see all their working parts; enjoy a bouncy house, and a slice of pizza. The event will take place between 5:00 and 7:00 pm. at the 140 Commerce Drive Fire Station.
