Every summer, the city along with other social service agencies, provides free lunches to children at various parks. This year, thanks to the efforts of Community Activist Jason Springer, who worked in conjunction with the city’s Grant Co-Ordinator Mike Aguiar, a new program has been added to the free lunch give-a-away. The program is designed to educate kids about alcohol and drug abuse problems. Aguiar explains to FRC Media News why Jason wanted to volunteer to get the program correlated with the free lunch program:
