A new exhibit at Bristol Community College’s Grimshaw-Gudewicz Art Gallery asks the question “How’s Your Weather?”
Subtitled “Artists Respond to Climate Change and Sustainability,” the exhibit runs until December 7, 2018, and features works by Resa Blatman, Michele Fandel Bonner, Tom Deininger, Phyllis Ewen, Laura Petrovich-Cheney, Cristi Rinklin and Marita Torbick.
“Throughout the exhibition, you will see meditations on several recurring themes: how vulnerable all living creatures are, learning to pay attention, how we can repurpose ordinary materials in unexpected ways, and how to begin to take more responsibility for individual and collective choices,” said gallery director Kathleen Hancock.
Grimshaw-Gudewicz Art Gallery is located in the H Building at Bristol Community College’s Fall River campus at 777 Elsbree Street. It is open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturdays from 1 to 4 p.m. There is no charge for admission.
