Fall River Finance Committee members heard final presentations from the administration and school committee for the proposed new B.M.C. Durfee High School construction project during its regular session last night. A special election will be held March 6th and the ballot question will ask voters to approve a $58.5 million dollar debt exclusion in order to help pay for the estimated $260 million dollar construction project. That means a $115 tax payment a year from residents for the next thirty years. School Committee member Paul Coogan, who supports a new Durfee, is urging residents not to be too concerned though over the final cost:
