A native of Puerto Rico, who was released on bail in that country, was arrested in Fall River recently.
According to police records, 36 year old Pedro Torres is charged with killing three people back in 2014. After bail was posted, he fled to the United States, was spotted in Providence, Rhode Island last month, and arrested September 1st by Fall River police after a nationwide manhunt.
Initially, authorities in Rhode Island arrested Torres on a charge of possession of firearms by a fugitive in July 2015, and extradited him to Puerto Rico. After Torres skipped bail and came to the U.S., police issued a nationwide search for him for homicide on Aug. 6, 2014, according to police records.
