In an effort to fight off mosquito born illnesses, Bristol County Mosquito Control Superintendent Priscilla Matton set up traps in Fall River recently. The traps, which were recently hung on tree branches at a city cemetery overnight, are designed to attract a pool of mosquitoes. The insects that are collected are then tested by the State Department of Public Health to see if they are disease carriers.
