The paving work that was scheduled to start June 9th on Millliken Boulevard from Columbia Street to the Connector has been delayed due to an unrelated water main breakage.
According to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, the paving has been rescheduled to next Thursday, June 16th. The work will start at 7:00 p.m. and be completed by 6:00 a.m. Friday morning, June 17th.
Traffic will be maintained, but motorists are urged to seek alternate routes if possible, use caution if not, and reduce speed as required in construction areas per state law.
