A news conference held this week at Fall River District Court put Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn III in the hot seat.
Quinn fielded questions about why a 28 year old Taunton man was not admitted to Morton Hospital for a psych exam when he sought help for his suicidal thoughts Monday night. Instead, after being released from the ER, Arthur Derosa went on a stabbing rampage on Myricks Street, then at the Silver City Galleria Mall where he stabbed numerous people, two fatally, before being shot and killed by an off duty police officer at Bertucci’s restaurant.
