In order to honor the memory of a loved one lost to an opioid addiction, the Vice President of the Niagra Neighborhood Association is putting together a memorial quilt. Helen Rego is asking residents to submit photographs of family members who died as a result of an overdose. Her daughter, a parent and nurse at Steward Hospital, Shirley Black, who is helping with the process, explains the purpose behind the idea:
