Watch our interview with Becky.
Becky Grossman is a Newton lawyer with degrees from Cornell and Harvard. She worked as an Assistant District Attorney in Middlesex County and currently serves as a Newton City Councillor. She says her number one job is being a mother to her eight-year-old daughter and five-year-old son. She says curbing gun violence and eliminating big money from politics should be a priority.
Ms. Grossman believes the country should take a deep look at instituting police reforms so that all people can feel safe in their communities. She supports a strong public option in health insurance and expanded funding and access to quality education. She also believes that all people should have the opportunity to succeed, and that starts with closing the income inequality gap and supporting small businesses.
