Mayor Jasiel Correia has accepted the resignation of his chief of staff, Christopher Parayno. In a statement today, Mr. Parayno said, “While I have enjoyed my tenure at Government Center, I have decided to pursue other career opportunities. And so, after careful deliberation, I have resigned from my position as Chief of Staff. I wish Mayor Correia and all of Fall River the best.
Mayor Correia has also issued this statement:
“Today, I have accepted the resignation of my Chief of Staff, Chris Parayno. Mr. Parayno is not only my friend, but has been a tremendous asset to me, my administration and to the city. It saddens me to lose him but I of course wish him the best in all future endeavors. I know he will be successful in any path he chooses.”
