The Job market throughout the Bay State is looking good. According to the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development, preliminary job estimates from the Bureau of Labor Statistics report that Massachusetts has gained 5,900 jobs over last year at this time.
Department Secretary Ronald Walker II says that the state continues to show signs of economic strength adding, “We are pleased we have surpassed total gains since November of 2014.”
Year-to-date: 67,700 jobs have been added to the job market surpassing the 60,700 over a year ago. The open positions are in the fields of constructions, education, health services and manufacturing.
