Police continue to search for a suspect who shot another man in the arm in an attempted burglary at 2096 Highland Avenue this morning, April 7th. The resident of the home did not sustain life threatening injuries, according to police. The victim, however, was transported to Charlton Memorial Hospital and is currently being treated at a trauma center in Rhode Island. Police Chief Dan Racine contends the resident of the home was shot after confronting the burglar.
