Creative Arts Network (CAN Fall River) is hosting two free events for children next month at Heritage State Park.

On Friday, August 3, a magic show featuring Lon Cerel, voted “Rhode Island’s Best Party Entertainment,” will take place from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

On Sunday, August 19, Toe Jam Puppet Band, a children’s entertainment group from New Bedford, will perform with special guest Big Brown Puppet from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Both events will be held in the park’s Visitors Center Auditorium.  Light refreshments will be available after the performances.
