If you missed the Lunar Eclipse on the night of September 27th, you will have to wait another 18 years to see the next one.

According to information on NASA.com,  the rare, so called “Blood Moon” occurs when the full moon passes partially or wholly through the umbra of the earth’s shadow. At this time the moon appears 14% larger and appears blood red.

The last Lunar Eclipse could clearly been seen in the Western Hemisphere back in 1982. The next one will grace the skies in 2033.
