The Rotary Club of Fall River is once again looking to help the local environment by partnering with area schools and day care providers to keep as many crayons and markers out of local landfills.
United Way of Greater Fall River staff plan to drop off a box or two at area schools, so teachers can recycle their crayons and markers before the school year ends later this month. Teachers who are willing to recycle their left over writing supplies can call the United Way at (508) 678-8361 to let staff know how many boxes they need. The containers will be dropped off and picked up at the convenience of each school.
