Over 70 city children were treated to free haircuts this week at the Cultural Center in downtown Fall River thanks to the generosity of the homeless advocacy organization THRIVE for Humanity.
THRIVE president Laura Bradley says 12 SouthCoast and Rhode Island stylists enthusiastically donated their services to the cause.
The free haircut event expands upon THRIVE’s weekly gathering of the unhoused and vulnerable in Fall River at the Revival Church of the Nation on Plymouth Avenue.
