Dartmouth resident Milena Rodrigues will be at Fall River Public Library on Thursday, October 11, to discuss her cookbook For the Love of Portuguese Food.
Written in English, the book “celebrates the art of simple but satisfying home cooking,” according to a recent news release.
“I am not a chef – just a Portuguese girl who loves to make Portuguese food!” says Rodrigues. “I love serving up homemade Portuguese dishes just like my parents did when I was growing up, and carrying on this tradition with my daughters is very important to me.”
Rodrigues’ talk starts at 6:30 p.m. Copies of her book will be available for purchase and signing.
The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Fall River Public Library, and admission is free. For more information, call Kate Kulpa at 508-324-2700, ext. 110, or visit the library online at http://fallriverlibrary.org
