Starting on August 1 and continuing throughout the month, FRCMedia is airing a series of Fall River Historical Society lectures on Channel 95.

The Society’s 2018 series of local history lectures will be broadcast Wednesdays at 10:00 p.m.  Topics include Fall River movie theaters of the past, The Cook-Durfee ice house at Interlachen, Spencer Borden, and Fall River professional baseball.

A series of lectures about Lizzie Borden from 2009 and a 2017 lecture about the Borden murder case will air Thursdays at 10:00 a.m.

The lectures were originally presented at Bristol Community College by speakers including local historians, professors, and Lizzie Borden scholars, and are heavily illustrated with images such as period photographs.
