The City of Fall River, in conjunction with the Fall River Youth Violence Prevention Initiative, recognized 13 individuals and organizations as being Heroes of Peace at a ceremony Monday recognizing the International Day of Peace.
The annual awards are presented to individuals and groups that provide a positive message of hope and compassion in Fall River.
