The United Way of Greater Fall River is awarding grants to local food pantries to continue to serve the needs of our region.

FALL RIVER — United Way of Greater Fall River (UWGFR) announces the recipients of the 2020 Food Grants.

United Way of Greater Fall River is pleased to announce the 2020 Food Grant recipients. This year’s Food Grants are awarded to agencies in each community in our service area. The Food Grants, co-sponsored by Bay Coast Bank, supplement donations and funds the agencies receive throughout the year. $43,000 in Food Grants were distributed for 2020-2021.

The 2020 UWGFR Food Grant recipients are:

  • BRISTOL Community College Mobile Market
  • Bristol Elder Services, Inc. Emergency Meal Pack
  • Citizens for Citizens Food Pantry
  • First Step Inn
  • Greater Fall River Community Food Pantry
  • Hagerman Food Pantry
  • Little Compton Food Pantry
  • Pope Francis Outreach Center
  • Sacred Heart / Holy Name Food Pantry
  • Salvation Army Food Pantry
  • St. Anne’s Church Food Pantry
  • Stoico/FIRSTFED YMCA – Swansea Mobile Food Pantry
  • Tiverton EBCAP Food Pantry
  • ·United Way of Greater New Bedford Hunger Commission
  • Veterans’ Association of Bristol County Food Pantry
  • Westport Food Pantry
  • YMCA – Fall River Mobile Food Pantry
