The United Way of Greater Fall River has begun accepting applications from community organizations for its Impact Grant program for the 2023-2024 fiscal year.
Executive Director Kim Smith says the grants are a way for innovative organizations to fund community-minded projects that fit within the mission of the United Way to benefit the region.
Last year the United Way funded 26 organizations with grants of up to $10,000. It plans to fund a similar number of projects for the 2023-2024 funding cycle.
The deadline for applications to the program is February 6 at 4 pm. The United Way is hosting a number of virtual question-and-answer sessions for organizations seeking additional information on applying for the Impact Grants.
