SouthCoast businesses remain guarded as they try to determine if an uptick in COVID cases will mean a return to government restrictions.
The One SouthCoast Chamber remains in constant contact with members who have steadily been able to expand their businesses as the Commonwealth re-opened the economy from the pandemic. Co-CEO Michael O’Sullivan says now that Fall River and other local communities are at the state’s highest level of COVID infection risk, business owners are showing concern over their future.
Mr. O’Sullivan says as the state decides what it needs to do to protect public health resulting from COVID spikes, his role is to keep his members informed.
In the face of uncertainty, Governor Charlie Baker is moving forward with his plan to rebuild the economy.
