Little Theatre of Fall River has announced its show lineup for the 2019-2020 season.

FALL RIVER (July 11,2019) – The Little Theatre of Fall River today announced its 2019-2020 season, which will include two Broadway smash hits: Shrek The Musical, directed by Paula Arruda, will run November 14-17, and Guys and Dolls, directed by Jeff Belanger and Jen Harris, will run May 14 -17. Both with be presented at The Margaret L. Jackson Performing Arts Center on Bristol Community College’s Fall River campus.
Little Theatre’s home, the historic Firebarn, will feature five productions, starting with a touching musical revue featuring tender ballads and hysterical laments, Starting Here, Starting Now, directed by Ken Raposa, running December 5-15, 2019. From first kiss to painful breakup, romantic relationships come full circle in this intimate revue. The second in the series is an internationally-acclaimed show that ran for 24 years on London’s West End and had 800 performances on Broadway.Directed by Deborah Sadler, Blood Brothers follows the story of twins separated at birth in 1960s Liverpool and runs March 12-22, 2020.
The Firebarn’s summer season kicks off with the Pulitzer Prize -Winning American classic, Thorton Wilder’s Our Town, directed by Kathy Castro, running June 4 – 14, 2020. July will feature the comedy, Church Basement Ladies, directed by Bobby Perry, it centers on the friendships among four women who volunteer in a Lutheran church, organizing and preparing food for all of the church’s functions. It runs from July 9 – 19, 2020.
Rounding out Little Theatre’s “Something For Everyone” season, is Ken Ludwig’s Baskerville: A
Sherlock Homles Mystery, directed by David Faria. This madcap comedy based on The Hounds of Baskerville will run August 13 – 23, 2020.
