High school seniors seeking a career in the performing arts are being encouraged to apply for scholarships offered by The Little Theatre of Fall River.

The Little Theatre of Fall River Performing Arts Scholarship applications are available now in the guidance offices of high schools in the Greater Fall River area. Applicants who reside in Assonet, Berkley, Dighton, Fall River, Freetown, Rehoboth, Somerset, Swansea, Westport, Tiverton or Little Compton are eligible to apply for these scholarships which support high school students furthering their education in the performing arts. Students enrolled in college may also apply. All applicants must be majoring in theatre arts, music, or dance to be eligible for these scholarships.
Little Theatre is celebrating 86 years of providing award-winning community theatre to the Greater Fall River area, and this is the 23rd year that it will award scholarships to students continuing their education at an accredited college or university by majoring in performing arts.
These scholarships acknowledge the talent of the young men and women in our area while also encouraging their efforts in performing arts. In addition, Little Theatre offers another scholarship specifically for members, children of members, as well as regular participants in its shows.
