Fall River residents interested in running for mayor, city council, or school committee in this year’s Municipal Election have until next Thursday, July 17, to take out nomination papers. Here is a list of those who have pulled papers.

Papers in need of certification of signatures of registered voters must be returned to the elections office by July 19 at 5 pm. The city’s Preliminary Election (if needed) will be held on September 16. The Municipal Election will be held on November 4.
