The reference room at the main branch of the Fall River Public Library will be closed beginning next week for renovations.
Here is the information from the Fall River Public Library:
Services Still Available During Library Reference Room Closure
The Davis Reference Room at the Fall River Public Library, 104 North Main Street, will be closed starting Tuesday, November 12 for restoration work related to the library roof repair project. The nearby Ryan Reference Room, however, will be open, and reference services will be available to the public in that room.
Public computers, microfilm readers, scanning, printing, fax service, interlibrary loan, tech help, genealogy, and ready reference service will all be available in the Ryan Reference Room during repairs. Passport Acceptance Services will also continue. Some print reference titles will be temporarily unavailable.
The reference department will strive to offer patrons the same outstanding service during the temporary relocation. While the space will be a little smaller, all essential services will continue. Additional public computers are available on the main floor of the library.
The library thanks our patrons for their patience during this necessary renovation.
