The Fall River Public Library is hosting the return of its annual Comic-Con this Saturday.
From the Fall River Public Library
Spring is here, and the Fall River Public Library is ready to celebrate as we host our annual COMIC-CON on Saturday, May 25 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m, with the theme of “Bring on the Bad Guys!” The library is thrilled to host this popular event, featuring comic book, fantasy, and sci-fi characters, crafts, activities, and more. This year’s Comic-Con will welcome special guests, including Superman, Captain America, Bigfoot, Doctor Octopus, Picachu, and a visit from ECTO-84, the famous Ghostbusters car! Cosplayers are invited to come in costume. This family-friendly event is FREE and open to all ages.
Some of Saturday’s highlights include:
- Take a picture with Slimer from Ghostbusters–and pick up some SLIME while you’re at it!
- Superhero crafts
- Face painting
- Free comic book giveaway!
The festivities will take place on the library lawn, or indoors in case of rain. You’ll also want to check out the life-size sculpture of Slimer in the main lobby of the library. Don’t miss this fantastic event!
