Superhero Costume Contest
Attention all superheroes, superheroes in training and any child who dreams of being a superhero! The Fall River Public Library is announcing its Superhero Costume Contest for children 3 to 12 years of age! Official entry forms can be picked up in the Children’s Section of the library beginning Monday, April 28 at 12:00 p.m.
We’re asking kids to dive deep into their super-creative powers to design their own dazzling costumes on the library’s official entry form using crayons, markers or colored pencils only. A simple outline is provided on the entry form for children to dress-up with their own unique designs. Costume designs can be inspired from anything – it can come from a child’s interests or hobbies, to the qualities that make themselves a “super” kid!
All entries must be returned to the Children’s Room by 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 12. Prizes will be awarded in 3 categories: Ages 3 to 5, Ages 6 to 8 and Ages 9 to 12. The winning entries will be displayed throughout the day at the Fall River Public Library’s annual Comic-Con on Saturday, May 24 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
For further information, contact the Children’s Room at 508-324-2700 ext. 4.
