The Fall River Public Library is giving those who have overdue material one week to return those items without paying the fines.

It’s Amnesty Week at the Library!
Do you have old, overdue library books, videos, or other items that you just never got around to returning? Are you worried about paying fines? It happens to all of us from time to time.
That’s why the Fall River Public Library is offering a special holiday AMNESTY WEEK for overdue fines. Return your overdue and long-lost items during the week before Christmas (December 16-December 21) and your fines will be forgiven!
You can return library material to either branch (the Main Library at 104 North Main Street or the South Branch at 58 Arch Street) anytime between Monday, December 16 and Saturday, December 21 and pay no overdue fines. Please note that items must be returned to have fines forgiven. Lost or damaged items must be paid for or replaced.
For further information, contact the Main Library at 508-324-2700, ext. 2, or the South Branch Library at 508-324-2708.
