With the latest COVID-19 re-openings taking place this week, the Fall River Public Library is expanding its capacity for patrons at its North Main Street location.
Now at 50% occupancy, the library has announced that in-person appointments are no longer needed and walk-ins are welcome. Both the front door and Elm Street door are open.
Current library hours are Monday, Thursday and Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 am to 7pm.
Curbside pick-up service of materials remains, but in a limited capacity, mornings from 9:30 am to 10:30 am.
The library is still not allowed to book any indoor gatherings but will be scheduling outdoor events through the summer.
