At a news conference at Government Center today, Mayor Jasiel Correia announced his intention to generate revenue for the city of Fall River through leasing or buying sites along Route 195 that will be adorned with LED billboards. The mayor says his team signed a contract with Capital Associates to oversee the outdoor advertising plan, which is expected to generate hundreds of thousands of dollars a year in added revenue, while saving taxpayer dollars.
