The next Fall River Farmers & Artisans Market takes place tomorrow beginning at 11am on Old Second Street, across from Government Center.
This Sunday’s Market (July 24) will feature 30+ vendors selling items that range from accessories, apparel, body care, and home goods to artisanal food products, eggs, local produce, and pastured meat. A list of confirmed vendors can be found at the bottom of this release; the most up-to-date vendor list can always be found on Market’s website, at www.fallriverfam.com.
In addition, there are 4 food trucks scheduled to attend:
- Green Jar Cocina
- JQ Cheesesteak
- Tiki Turbo
- What’s Up Cupcake
For entertainment, the market will feature live music from 11am – 3pm. The featured band is Sentimental Fools, a local quartet that performs classic rock music with an acoustic touch.
There will also be free activities for all ages:
- 11am – 2pm: Meet & Greet with Blippi
- 11am – 2pm: Viva Murals Spray Paint Art Class with Little Lambs. Leave with your own spray paint art creation! And when you’re done, you can walk over and see the two large murals in progress at 207 Pocasset St.
- 11am – 3pm: Henna Tattoos with Sakonnet Schooners
- 11am – 3pm: Nature crafts and activities at the Mobile Adventures van with the Trustees of Reservations
The FR FAM takes place in Downtown Fall River, on Old Second Street, a cobblestoned pedestrian walkway, located across from the Government Center, at 25 Jeremiah V Sullivan Dr. The market runs from 11am – 3pm. Street parking is free on Sundays.
