The Fall River Arts and Culture Coalition (FRACC) is hosting its latest exhibit of local artists and makers at its Ignition Space on Troy St.

From FRACC

The Fall River Arts and Culture Coalition (FRACC) is excited to announce the exhibition “Take Me to the River,” featuring: Diana Arvanites, Alyn Carlson, Alma Cummings, Corrinn Jusell, Chris Page, Heather Stivison, and Soundscapes by Scott Bishop. The exhibition is now on view at The Ignition Space, located at 44 Troy St, Unit 2 in Fall River, MA, until August 25, 2024.

Join us for the Opening Reception on Thursday, August 15th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, for an exhibition of multimedia artwork that gathers the community around the concept of the river. “Take Me to the River” is a curated exhibition led by Diana Arvanites, bringing together a diverse group of artists to explore, respect, and educate on the importance of our waterways. Additionally, on Saturday, August 17th, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, there will be a free “Make and Meet” workshop led by Diana Arvanites. Participants will have the opportunity to create a one-of-a-kind wearable art piece from objects, both natural and synthetic, found along the river. All supplies are included. Don’t miss this chance to learn from one of SouthCoast’s talented artists and unleash your creativity. This workshop is free, and registration is not required. Visit thefracc.org/events-calendar to sign up.

The Ignition Space is free to visit and open Thursday-Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday-Sunday from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Conveniently located as stop #5 on Fall River’s trolley route, visitors can easily reach the gallery. For more information on the trolley schedule, please visit vivafallriver.com/trolley.

We are proud to support this exhibition through our Ignition Project, made possible by the TDI Creative Catalyst Grant Program, administered by MassDevelopment and funded by the Barr Foundation.
