The former King Phillip Mills Complex at 372 Kilburn Street has been deemed a safety issue for quite some time. Southend Neighborhood Association President, and State Representative Alan Silvia has been working on getting the fire ravaged building razed and rebuilt for just as much time along with City Councilor Pam Laliberte-Lebeau, who serves as the chair of the council’s Public Safety Subcommittee.
