Saturday, June 1:
Family Concert with Roger Tincknell: Children’s Songs & Singing Games, 11 am. This will be our last Saturday of the season! After June 1st, the library will be closed on Saturdays for the summer. Come celebrate with a free family concert on the Elm Street lawn.
Thursday, June 13:
Silent Movie Night with Richard Hughes, 6 pm. Experience the movies as they were in the roaring twenties—the 1920s, that is! Watch a classic silent film, The Circus, starring Charlie Chaplin, with live piano accompaniment by Richard Hughes. He will also demonstrate sound effects and talk about early film techniques and fun facts. A thoroughly enjoyable evening!

Thursday, June 20:
Her Majesty: An Evening with Queen Elizabeth II, 6 pm. Sheryl Faye’s Historical Women series brings to life some of the most enduring and inspiring figures of history. Sheryl Faye is an award-winning actress who tours the country with her remarkable one-woman shows. “Her Majesty” depicts the remarkable life of Queen Elizabeth II, the longest-reigning monarch in British history, who led her people through good times and bad with strength, courage, resilience, and dedication to a life of service.

Tuesday, June 25:
Artwork Unveiling Storytime, 11 am. This storytime will feature the unveiling of the painting “Lincoln Park Carousel” by local artist Sheila Oliveira. The event will include a storytime and a Carousel Horse Craft. Bring a blanket to spread on the lawn and some snacks and enjoy the celebration! Please join us in welcoming this original artwork to the permanent collection of the Fall River Public Library! Special treat for all…COTTON CANDY! All ages welcome.
Thursday, June 27:
Summer Reading Kickoff with Rolie Polie Guacamole, 11 am. Join us on our front lawn as we kick off another exciting summer of reading and family activities at the Fall River Public Library! The musical group, Rolie Polie Guacamole, will provide the musical entertainment for our event! They will have you dancing, singing, and tapping your toes to their original songs, with plenty of audience participation! Children 12 and younger can sign up for our annual 7-week summer reading club. Children will receive their official summer reading logs at this time to begin their adventure at the library. Bring a blanket to spread on the lawn, a picnic lunch or snacks, and share this morning of fun!
Friday, June 28:
Drums Alive!, 11 am. Kids 4 and up are invited to take part in this thrilling rhythm and movement program designed to get kids drumming up a storm and hopping to the beat! If you like drumming, dancing, and having a good time, don’t miss this fun-filled presentation. In case of rain, the program will take place indoors.
