Polls for the preliminary election in Fall River will close at 8:00 p.m. tonight. Residents are expected to vote for mayor, and school committee. Whoever is chosen today will go on to compete in the final election on November 7th. While the city has approximately, 47,500 voters, Board of Election Chairperson Liz Camara tells FRC Media News that despite decent weather, she expects a low voter turnout for the rest of the day at the polls:
