United Interfaith Action of Southeastern Massachusetts is organizing a city-wide walk in Fall River on Sunday in support of those in Ukraine.
Father Rob Nemokovitch, Pastor of Blessed Trinity Parish on Plymouth Avenue, says the walk will begin at his church and end at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church on Center Street.
The walk will begin at Blessed Trinity Church on Plymouth Avenue, head west on Globe Street, then north on South Main to Rockland Street heading west past St. Stanislaus Church. The walk will then move south on Broadway and then west on Center Street to St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church.
Father Nemokovitch says the walk for Ukraine is an outward gesture, but providing financial assistance is what is needed most.
