Fall River police arrested 32 year old Lamar Robinson, who does not have an address and is considered homeless, on firearms violations Sunday night.
Lamar Robinson was arrested in the hallway of a building at 38 Rocliffe Street, after police say they found him with an illegal .22 revolver, and plastic bag of ammunition.
Police officers responded to the scene after receiving a call indicating there was a large group of men in front of the building and one of them had a gun. The group of men were frisked by police on the street, but none of them were armed. Upon entering the Rocliffe Street building though, they found Lamar and a gun in the hallway. Lamar had a bag of bullets on him and was arrested and charged with the following: Possession of a non-large capacity firearm in public, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, possession of ammunition without an FID card and a firearm arrest with three prior violent or drug convictions.
