Heritage State Park will host The Rivers and The Rail, the last in its 2018 series of “Lunch Meet Lectures,” at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 26.
The presenter will be local historian Taylor Silva, the head of reference services at Fall River Public Library. Silva will discuss the role the Quequechan and Taunton rivers and the Fall River Railroad played in the development of industry and commerce in the greater Fall River area.
The lecture will be held in the Visitor Center Theater at Heritage State Park, and is recommended for adults and older children.
