If your library is infested with ghosts, goblins, ghoulies and other creepy things that go bump
in the night, who you gonna call? Ghostbusters! The Fall River Public Library, 104 North
Main Street, welcomes fans of all ages to a night celebrating the classic Ghostbusters movie
on Thursday, October 24, starting at 6:30 p.m.
The Ghostbusters will be here—in full uniform including Proton Packs—to take care of the
library’s ghostly problem, and to pose for pictures and meet with fans. Visitors may also run
into the Frankenstein monster lurching about the library, can have their fortunes told by the
haunted fortune-telling machine, and can pick up some ectoplasmic slime while supplies last.
Horrible highlights of the evening include Halloween face painting, a spooky ornament craft,
and a ghostly scavenger hunt. Try your own ghost-busting skills by locating six spooky,
supernatural spectres hidden throughout the library! Children successfully finding all 6 will
be eligible to win a Halloween Basket of books and other goodies.
Families and fans of all ages are invited to experience some spooky fun—and costumes are
welcome! While you’re at the library, feast your eyes on our Halloween displays and check
out some thrilling books and chilling films. Don't miss this ghostly, fun-filled night!
