The City of Fall River, Department of Veterans Services will be conducting a Remembrance Day Ceremony to honor and remember all veterans who served during the Gulf War/Desert Storm.
The Ceremony will take place at Turner Park (across from the Amvets) on Danforth Street Fall River, MA. at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 26th, and will be held rain or shine.
All are welcome to join us as we remember those who have served, and to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice during that time.
For further information, please contact, Ray Hague, at the Department of Veteran Services at Fall River Government Center.
Who plans these events? 10 AM on a work day? Really? Most Gulf War and Desert Storm vets have jobs. So is this really about the Vets or the politicians who are there mainly for the photo op? Why couldn’t this be scheduled on a Saturday or after 6PM? I bet there will be more Politicians than Vets. This is SAD! Seems our Veteran agent dropped the ball.
