With nine months of renovations now complete, Lafayette Durfee House, Fall River’s link to the American Revolution, celebrates its Grand Reopening on Sunday, October 21.

Located at 94 Cherry Street, the historic site is Fall River’s only restored colonial house open for public tours. The rooms have been recreated as if it were 1750, with collections of period clothing, civilian muskets and military weapons, furnishings, and cooking and household items.

The Grand Reopening will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. and is open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.  For more information, go to http://lafayettedurfeehouse.org.
