Entrepreneurs with a dream, but not a business background, may benefit from attending free workshops sponsored by the Small Business Development Center Network in partnership with the city’s Office of Economic Development. The second of a series of planned workshops was held this week at the Cherry & Webb Building in downtown Fall River. Led by Microloan Technical Assistant Specialist Mike Motta, the topic was how to consider and manage finances for start-up businesses. Eric Pilotte, is a Beekeeper with a company called Hive Gotta Buzz Apiary, who plans to attend all of the workshops. He explained that he wants to produce honey from bees claiming that it helps some people with allergies. Pilotte is hoping to take his beekeeping business to a building in Fall River.
