Chef Liz Barbour will demonstrate how to cook with an instant pot in a free class at Fall River Public Library on Thursday, March 28, at 6:00 p.m.

A well-known cooking instructor and gardener, Barbour is the author of Beautifully Delicious: Cooking with Herbs & Edible Flowers and the owner of The Creative Feast, online at  http://www.thecreativefeast.com/

The instant pot, says the library, is a versatile and very popular pressure cooker “that can be used to slow-cook soups and stews, steam rice, cook eggs, and even make yogurt.”

The class is sponsored by the Friends of the Fall River Public Library. Space is limited to 35, and registration is required at the library circulation desk or by calling 508-324-2700, ext. 2.
