The Greater Fall River Addiction Help Center, People Helping People, provides free assistance and treatment to community members coping with addiction – and there are no waiting lists.
Support ranges from recovery coaching, inpatient detox referrals, and interventions to 12-step programs, individual therapy, and NARCAN training, as well as other services for addicts and their families.
The center is open from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. on the last Thursday of the month in the lobby of Fall River Government Center. For more information, email recoverfallriver@gmail.com.
