The Justice Resource Institute will share strategies for self-regulation at an upcoming series of group meetings for boys and girls ages 8 to 12 with a history of trauma and their parents and caregivers.

Titled Stop, Slow, Go, the series will offer tools and techniques for managing strong feelings in healthy ways, including trauma-sensitive yoga. Meetings will be facilitated by an occupational therapist and clinician trained in trauma-focused treatment.

The group will meet Mondays from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at The Fernandes Center for Children & Families at Saint Anne’s Hospital in Fall River beginning on October 22 and continuing through December 10.  There is no charge for participation.
