Four people, an 18 year old man, and three juveniles, were arrested in connection with the stabbing of a 30 year old man just yards away from the Talbot Middle School earlier this week. According to police, 18 year old Charles Brothers, was arrested in connection with the stabbing that took place about an hour after Talbot’s dismissal on Monday, March 14th. The arrest of Brothers, who’s last address is listed as 169 Covel Street, and three juveniles (who’s names are not being released because of age) were apprehended today, Tuesday, March 15th.

Arrest warrants are also issued for two additional juveniles; all five of the younger suspects are from Fall River.

Reportedly, the stabbing occurred because of alleged harassment against the victim’s son.

A police investigation shows that Brothers and at least six juveniles confronted the father as he was driving along Stone and Melrose Streets. When the defendants surrounded the car the father got out and was struck and fell from behind. It is being reported the victim suffered four stab wounds.

Police kept an increased presence in the Talbot Middle school area immediately after the attack.
