Fall River’s Forever Paws Animal Shelter has announced plans for its annual “Celebration of Giving,” to be held from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. on Friday, September 28, 2018 at Rachel’s Lakeside in Dartmouth.

The event will include a buffet, silent auction, and presentation of the 2018 “Hearts for Paws Humanitarian Award” to Gail Furtado, president of Forever Paws’ board of directors.   Under Furtado’s direction, according to a press release, the organization “has evolved into one of Bristol County’s most respected and valued animal shelters.”

A non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and finding homes for stray, abused, and abandoned animals, Forever Paws works to raise awareness of animal rights, abuse, and overpopulation.

Admission to the event is $45 per person.  For information about sponsorships or to donate auction items or buy tickets call 508-678-0804.
