A member of the Fall River Historical Commission has resigned following reports of his remarks regarding the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

Fall River Historical Commission Member Resigns
(FALL RIVER, MA – September 15, 2025)- After discussions between Mr. Jason Bouchard-Nawrocki and Mayor Coogan over the weekend and again this morning both parties have agreed that it would be in the best interest of the city and the Historical Commission for Mr. Bouchard-Nawrocki to resign from his volunteer position on the commission. This has not been an issue taken lightly and going forward all members of boards and commissions will be receiving a copy of the City of Fall River’s social media policy as reflected in our Employee Handbook.
